Form a Band

SharingFellowship3If you have been exploring the vision of Inspire, and would like to form a fellowship band of 3 or 4 people, then follow these steps. The process described here is for the formation of a single band, but the same steps should be followed if you are looking into forming a number of bands, with 3 or 4 people in each.

1. Explore the Inspire Vision

Familiarise yourself with the Inspire way of life, and the commitments associated with becoming a wayfarer in the network. It is often a good idea to have the Inspire team provide an introductory seminar at your church. Become an explorer with Inspire by registering on the website. This will also give you access to a wider range of downloadable resources. Click here to register with Inspire.

2. Find a Few Friends

Identify two or three others who could join you in a fellowship band. A good place to start is with those you already share some affinity – friends or colleagues – either in your own or other churches

3. Download Our Quick Guide

Click here to download the Quick Guide to Forming a Band. This has little booklet expands on the information here by taking you through the process step-by-step. We can also provide printed versions our resources upon request.

Introducing Inspire

Testimonies

“No matter how tired I have been going to these sessions I have always come away spiritually encouraged, refreshed and enthused to continue on in God’s mission wherever I am.”

“Using this format (fellowship band), and the ideas from Inspire has been the most formative and indeed inspiring ‘thing’ for want of a better word, that I have been part of for years.”

“I feel more confident in who I am as a Christian but also as a leader in Christian ministry.”

“Thanks so much for the teaching sessions this year. I found them inspirational and I love the discussion format – it really engages those present, and we learn so much more than listening to a talk. It is one of the few places that ministers get “fed” and so is very valuable to us”
