I was out walking as the sun began to rise in Kentucky. One of the things I constantly marvel at here is the big sky. As I walked I was thinking about the vastness of God’s creation, love and power. The light of dawn was slowly rising and, as it lit the sky and then the misty fields, I saw the promise of a new day full of the Lord’s presence. And found myself praying:
The sun comes up
It’s a new day dawning
It’s time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass
And whatever lies before me
Let me be singing
When the evening comes
