I love to sing praise! There are so many good new songs but I love the old ones too. “By and by I will look on His face” (Grace Reese Adkins) reminds me that my life will have a conclusion and I can’t be sure when! It goes on to say, “I wish I had given Him more, so much more, More of my life than I e’er gave before”. We might all echo that sentiment in relation to our worship, service and prayer. That’s why I feel blessed by the Inspire Prayer Network and our seasonal gatherings on line. Let’s make this a priority in the coming weeks and put the next gathering on December 1 in our diaries!
As we follow the Way of Life we try to keep focusing on Jesus. Some people even set their digital watches to remind them every hour to reflect on what Jesus has been showing them in the moment.
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Eph. 6.18.
There is great encouragement for us when we know others are doing the same thing in different places. The last Friday of the month is such a time as we commit to pray and fast together across the Inspire Movement. We are fasting from the world’s distractions and focusing on how the Lord wants to use us as Inspire-d disciples to build His kingdom right where we are and right now.
