Choose The Way

We went on a walk recently through the park and found lots of secret paths to walk down. Malachi walked down the narrow path and stopped at the where the path split ahead. He waited at the cross choosing which way to go. He chose the path to the right. He walked to the tree that was in his way, turned round and went the other way.

Sometimes life is like standing at the cross roads, undecided as to which way to go. There are three options, left, right or sit down and don’t bother! God calls us to action, to choose one way or the other.  Even if we choose the wrong path, He will still turn us round and send us the right way. But if we choose nothing, it’s like sitting down and not bothering. And that gets us nowhere!

Lord, direct me throughout my journey
so I can experience your plans for my life.
Reveal the life-paths that are pleasing to you.
Escort me along the way; take me by the hand and teach me.
For you are the God of my increasing salvation;
I have wrapped my heart into yours!

Psalm 25: 4-5 (Passion Translation)

Tabitha, and her son Malachi, go for a walk with Jesus most days near where they live in England.
