Reflect
Malachi is the very last prophet of the Old Testament. He tells people to turn back to God! And gives a prophecy of the coming of a messenger who will prepare the way for the Lord. Malachi lived over 400 years before Jesus was born. Even before then people were waiting for Jesus, the Lord, Saviour and Messiah to come.
Imagine being excited for Christmas for over 400 years!

Jesus, Lord of all creation. Thank you for making the sun, the moon and the stars. Thank you for making me and loving me more than all of creation. Help me to be excited for your birthday, and remember that it is because of you we can celebrate! Amen
