Did you know that angels are not frilly fairies with golden halos and fluffy wings? They are heaven’s warriors. No wonder Zechariah was so afraid. He was not the only one. Gabriel had to say, “Do not be afraid” to everyone he spoke to!
Did you know that Gabriel only showed himself to 3 people? Can you work out who the other two people are?
How would you feel or react if an angel appeared to you?

Wonderful Messiah! Wonderful Jesus! Thank you that you tell us not to be afraid but to trust in you. Help us to proclaim your name to everyone, so that there will be no more fear and no more worries. Amen
