Father God, I cry out to you:
God of all comfort,
I am tired and worn, my heart is heavy.
Draw me close and hold me tight.
God of light,
The darkness is overwhelming.
Shine for me, you won’t let the darkness overcome me.
God of goodness,
I am broken.
Heal me, restore me, you take my burdens from me.
God of peace,
My heart and my mind is troubled
Give me your peace which surpasses all understanding
God of hope,
My sorrow is great, my tears overflow
Fill me with your peace, your joy and give me hope.
