Holy Saturday – Spiritual Warfare.
That is a great theme for today because I sometimes think of it as an activity we do on God’s, or our own. behalf. But spiritual warfare is God’s activity that’s done for us, and for the sake of his Kingdom.
Isaiah 30:15 came to mind: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.”
The day between the Cross and the Resurrection is where we live a lot of our lives. We have little more than a hope and a promise but, in God’s Kingdom, that’s more than enough.
“The Lord will fight for you, you need only be still”. Exodus 14:14
