We are praising God for …

  • The new house fellowship starting in Pahrump, Navada.
  • Multiplication of fellowship bands and house fellowship. Read more here.
  • Prisoners set free in Jesus whilst in prison and living changed lives when the are set free from incarceration.
  • The Lord keeping K’s grandparents safe in a car crash.
  • Celebrating new life in Christ Jesus with those who were baptized at Easter time.
  • Fruitfulness from Inspire teaching at a college student retreat that helped them learn to listen to God better.
  • Kairos prison ministry: “Thank you all for prayers for the prison ministry this week. We saw Jesus break hearts, assault strongholds and heal memories.” Read more here.
  • The blessings poured out on a recent mission trip: “Thank you for your prayers. Our mission trip to Dominican Republic was a huge success. We worked on a clinic in a very poor village of 150,000 of the poorest people. We were able to deliver 200 bags of beans and rice to those families. One woman was in tears as she had run out of food the day before and had nothing to feed her family. We prayed together, worshipped together, shared meals and stories.”
  • Giving thanks for those who are spiritual parents to us. On (USA) Mother’s Day one fellowship focused on giving thanks for our whole faith family and how Jesus love binds us together as mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, children … it was a beautiful time of prayer especially as we have several women who are single and folks who have lost mothers or who have broken relationships.
  • Faithful pray-ers across the Movement, who help us to continue “holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people” Rev 5:8

Prophetic Words and Prayers

Below are prayers, scriptures, and insights that people have sent us recently. We invite you to pray with us about what the Lord is saying to Inspire through these. As you pray make a note of what comes to your mind and pray again. If you feel the Lord is speaking to you about these or any other image, scriptures, prayers, then do please share them with us.

”The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves. Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty.“‭‭Psalm 93‬:‭3‬-‭4‬

The Scottish minister Robert Murray M’Cheyne wrote: ‘If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference. He is praying for me.’

”The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.

Psalm 19‬:‭8‬-‭9‬

”And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.“ ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬

As I was asking the Father what He was saying about Inspire this morning I sensed the following:

“Truest of true. Perception is not always reality. Burying talents will bite you. Dig them up and put them to work for My Kingdom.”

The question I am asking is, Father what have I buried that You want me to dig up? What have we buried that You want us to dig up for our good and for Your glory?

Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.
Psalm 14: 5,6

Sometimes a verse pops up on my daily notification from the bible app that is so familiar I barely read it. And sometimes the Lord seems to put bright lights around it and suddenly it doesn’t seem so familiar. The Spirit speaks with fresh revelation. It makes me wonder how many times I have glanced at those notifications and not paused long enough for the Living Word to speak to me today.

That is what happened today with this verse. The capital letters are the ones that leapt out to me today.

“But he was pierced for our REBELLION, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so WE COULD BE WHOLE. He was whipped so WE COULD BE HEALED”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus, today I submit my rebellious spirit to you and seek your forgiveness for all the ways I deny the power the cross because I fail to claim the wholeness and healing that you have already won for me and those who turn to you. Amen.

“LORD, heal me and I will be completely well; rescue me and I will be perfectly safe. You are the one I praise!” Jeremiah 17:14. GNV

“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” 2Cor12:9NLT

Sometimes we do not know what words to use when we pray. We are so thankful when the Lord helps to inspire us through the words of others. Here are a few prayers that have been shared on the Inspire prayer group. We have left space for you to name people you are praying for.

  • “Lord, with so many things happening in the world today, we stop to pray for those affected by earthquakes, war and national disasters. Grant peace to your people and help them know that You are there in their midst. Keep them safe and praising You in spite of the circumstances. Amen.”
  • “We are surrounded by the heavenly party (Hebrews 12:1) and yet it seems so far away. Our hearts are heavy this morning with those who are grieving. Lord, draw us nearer to You and to each other, as we mourn with [NAME] and as we celebrate their loved ones who have gone on to glory. May the family be blessed and comforted by You as they grieve and mourn day by day looking to You. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
  • “Praying the Lord will give comfort in grief, and that all who mourn will find peace in this enormous time of loss. Amen.”
  • “Thank you Lord for the privilege of being able to stand as prayer warriors one another. Whether you are calling us to step out on mission with you in another country, in our local church, in our neighbourhood, in our homes or even right where we sit in our armchair in prayer, help us all to be faithful in fulfilling our calling to PRAY today and everyday. We are ALL on mission with you through our prayers, wherever we are. May your name be glorified and your Kingdom come as we talk, and listen, to you each day. Amen.”
  • “Lord surround [NAME] with your love and healing that all might know your power & glory. Amen”
  • “Thank You, Father! Please keep healing [NAME] and help everyone around them to recognize You as the Healer! Amen”
  • “Lord Bless [NAME] and bless the people they will minster to. Give them words that will show your love and comfort even in tough times. Breathe your spirt into this meeting that it be a new beginning. Amen.”
  • “We are surrounded by the heavenly party (Hebrews 12:1) and yet it seems so far away. Our hearts are heavy this morning those who grieve. Lord, draw us nearer to You and to each other, as we mourn with our dear brother/sister and as we celebrate that precious one who has gone on to glory. May the family be blessed and comforted by You as they grieve and mourn day by day looking to You. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

Praying for Missioners

Inspire Missioners are on the frontline of the Movement. They are all involved in different ways and different contexts. They seek to live the way of life in all of their roles and responsibilities. As they share the Inspire vision for missional discipleship and work that out in many different ways, we see the Movement growing and the Kingdom coming. Please keep them all in your prayers.

Often serving Jesus is costly in more ways than we know. We are so thankful for all our Inspire Missioners in the many different ways they are serving and continue to pray for their protection.

It is always a joy and privilege to meet together with one another for prayer. And, as he promises, Jesus is with us whenever we gather. We are planning Inspire prayer gatherings to coincide with particular times of year. And EVERYONE is welcome to join us. Even if you can only join for a short time, or just want to come along to listen, we would love to have you with us.
