I have the same struggle that you talked about. In my case, there is one specific person who tells me she believes in God but I don’t see it or hear it in her words. I know some things about her true heart but I realize that God knows all. I am just now realizing that there are many things she has not forgiven herself for. I have forgiven her for things in our past. However, I don’t know if she believes that she can be forgiven by God.”
