We do want you have had a happy new year but for many people we know that this feels like a shallow greeting or an unrealistic aspiration. For those starting this new year in the midst of war, struggling with depression, racked with anxiety, or overwhelmed by life, happiness seems a far reach. But hope…
Hope is a gift of grace from God and that is what we pray for all of you so that you will have joy and peace which are far greater, stronger and everlasting than anything the world can give you.
We pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NIV)
As we seek to be filled and overflowing with the power of the Spirit in 2024, we invite you join us as we resolve to pray with and for one another. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Forward the Beacon of Hope to a friend so that they can receive a regular ray of hope.
- Subscribe to the monthly Prayer Bowl.
- Commit to use the Covenant Prayer as part as you regular devotions.
- Start a fellowship band or join a house fellowship. Get in touch if you would like us to help.
- Register for an online learning community to grow as a disciple in the company of others.
