On the Frontline

News from Inspire Missioners

Our Inspire Missioners all work in many different contexts, giving their time and talents in different ways. All of them dedicate themselves to the Way of Life and to helping others to grow as missional disciples. But we are not unaware of the devil’s schemes and we find him prowling round, and often attacking, our Missioners. Please join us in praying for their protection, for their wellbeing, for their healing and for the power of the Spirit to overcome all adversities.

Sorrow and Joy

We have bitter-sweet news of our newest members of the Inspire Family who were originally due to be born just one day apart. Their parents are all Inspire Missioners, serve on the Inspire Core Team UK, and they journeyed through the pregnancies together. We ask you to keep them all in your prayers, especially these coming months.

On 29th August, Boaz Emrys was born without a heartbeat. We join Matt and Rachel in mourning the loss of their precious baby boy whom we never had time to get to know in this world, but who rests in the arms of His heavenly Father until we meet him in glory.

On 11 September, Malachi Elijah James was born to Tabitha and Michael.

Wholeness, Health and Holiness

Meghan is an Inspire Missioner based in Wilmore, KY. In the last few years she has been developing her gift as a fitness instructor using her exercise classes to draw people into the presence of God. This summer she was invited to lead exercise classes at the Free Methodist Church General Conference in Orlando, Florida. Her fellowship band have journeyed with her as she has grown into this ministry and prayed her through the anxious time of preparation for the conference. Here is her testimony after the event:

“It went so well! God really paved the way for a wonderful experience of His joy. We had 35-60 people each day. There were 10 year olds to 77 year olds, black, white, Latina, Greek, Bulgarian, Canadian, Filipinos, & etc; people who do CrossFit every day and people who had never worked out in a group before. I had so much fun and felt like God equipped me in every way and enabled me to be a blessing to my Free Methodist family. I am still celebrating the way God showed up! Thanks for praying for it, y’all!”
