We are praising God for …
- Three new babies in our Inspire family born three days in a row (31 Dec, 1 Jan, 2 Jan)!
- Planting of fellowship bands in Benin during Brian’s teaching trip.
- David and Ruth who were married in January having met at an Inspire House Fellowship.
- A new House Church planted in Lexington, KY, USA.
- New bands forming in a church community in Indiana, USA
- Tammie’s teaching and introduction to band in her international seminary teaching.
- The safe arrival of baby Joey and for his Mummy who was witnessing to Mormons whilst she was in labour at home!
- Faithful pray-ers across the Movement, who help us to continue “holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people” Rev 5:8
Prayer Points

Please join us in praying for:
- Those who are facing unemployment as jobs are terminated.
- People who are living in the reality of war torn countries. Pray for good resolutions for peace. Pray for those who are in fear of being called up for active service.
- Financial support for Inspire Missioners so that we can advance the reach of Inspire wherever the Spirit is directing us. Click here to read more.
So whenever we are in need, we should come bravely before the throne of our merciful God. There we will be treated with undeserved kindness, and we will find help. Hebrews 4:16 (CEV)

- Alberto recovering from removal of a brain tumor.
- Akiko’s family after he died aged 38 from an infection he got in hospital whilst having chemo for cancer.
- Timothy whose cancer has returned after a number of years in remission and he has to wait to see if there are any options for new treatments.
- The Myers family whose two teenage children were killed in a car accident in icy conditions.
- Edward who has been working with an Inspire Missioner to promote Inspire fellowship bands in Kentucky UMC. His kidneys are failing and he is awaiting a kidney transplant.
- Max in the final weeks before submission of his PhD after years of work and the challenges of long term illness. Pray that the Lord will make the way for him to succeed at this last stage.
Prophetic Words and Prayers
Below are prayers, scriptures, and insights that people have sent us recently. We invite you to pray with us about what the Lord is saying to Inspire through these. As you pray make a note of what comes to your mind and pray again. If you feel the Lord is speaking to you about these or any other image, scriptures, prayers, then do please share them with us.
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Proverbs 16:3
“I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.
The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved me.” (Psalm 116:1, 6)
Praying tonight for the young and unwary in our community who have experienced difficulties sleeping due to illness, nightmares, and other schemes of the devil.
Father, we thank you that you hear the cries and answer the prayers of your precious children, young and old. Lord have mercy on [NAMES] experiencing difficulties breathing, coughing, and sleeping. Thank you that you are our strong tower and a mighty refuge. Thank you for your precious blood Lord Jesus that covers these children and washes them in your holy presence. Thank you that you cover these children in the shadow of your wings as they sleep tonight. We love you Lord and extol Your name in the evening, in the morning, and at midday! Amen

While the world celebrates Valentine’s Day with romance, cupids, and hearts, this feast day traditionally celebrates a martyr who according to some, purposefully subverted the powers and principalities by uniting young couples in Christian marriage for the advancement of the kingdom of God. Valentine is also said to have shared the gospel of King Jesus with Emperor Claudius before the Emperor beheaded him for his refusal to deny his faith in Christ. May we too be bold and courageous in our witness of the excellencies of Christ to all people in all places, and may we consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Him! (Phil 3:8)

As we think about the billions of £/$ that are spent for Valentine’s Day and the millions of cards that will be sent, we see how beyond the chocolate and roses our culture has dramatically reshaped the way we approach love. From dating apps to reality TV, love is treated as a competition rather than a commitment. The focus has shifted away from giving love to being loved. As followers of Christ, we know that God is love. He created us for relationship, first with Him and then with one another. While the world constantly redefines love, God’s love remains unchanging and distinct.

A great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.
1 Corinthians 16:9
God has put into place for you to collaborate with Him. I typed in the word, “co-labor” first and my phone changed it to collaborate. I love that it’s BOTH!! Jesus is going WITH you and AHEAD of you, friend. Your YES to Him gives Him Great Joy! I’m seeing a big smile on His face for you.
He will bear the burdens, He will flow through your being and Holy Spirit will fill your mouth with His words. You need only be still, wait on Him, move with Him, stay in step with Him…
Jesus, thank you for the love you have for the people in [PLACE], and for those who minster there. Come Holy Spirit and accomplish Your desires through these missionaries. Enable them to deeply experience His Belovedness as you love them and love through them.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

Sometimes we do not know what words to use when we pray. We are so thankful when the Lord helps to inspire us through the words of others. Here are a few prayers that have been shared on the Inspire prayer group. We have left space for you to name people you are praying for.
Jesus, Thank you for the good gifts you’ve given this family and Your deep love for them. In the name of Jesus, I curse sickness and discouragement and any other assignment against this family. Holy Spirit, fill each of them again today. Amen
“Lord Jesus, I pray that [NAMES] will hear the word that you are speaking over them tonight as they sleep. Thank you for driving out this infirmity and thank you for filling this family with the refreshing of your sweet Word and sweet Spirit as they enjoy the day that you have already gone before and prepared for them tomorrow. You are worthy of it all Jesus. We love you and praise Your name! Amen.”
Lord- clean out the sickness that is invading this family. Block the enemy from infecting them and clean out any evil presence in their home. Lord, we pray that you bless and heal this family and we give you all the glory! Amen

Help those who are near them to know how to walk with them through this season of grief. May they feel the prayers being lifted on their behalf. Inspire Missioners are on the frontline of the Movement. They are all involved in different ways and different contexts. They seek to live the way of life in all of their roles and responsibilities. As they share the Inspire vision for missional discipleship and work that out in many different ways, we see the Movement growing and the Kingdom coming. Please keep them all in your prayers.
Often serving Jesus is costly in more ways than we know. We are so thankful for all our Inspire Missioners in the many different ways they are serving and continue to pray for their protection.
It is always a joy and privilege to meet together with one another for prayer. And, as he promises, Jesus is with us whenever we gather. We are planning Inspire prayer gatherings to coincide with particular times of year. And EVERYONE is welcome to join us. Even if you can only join for a short time, or just want to come along to listen, we would love to have you with us.
