Abundance Together

Abiding in the vine is not something we do as isolated individuals.  There is one true vine and only one.  But there are many branches.  If I could have found a ball of yarn that I knew would be long enough, I would have liked to have passed it around the church this morning, to ask each person to take ahold of it and to then pass it along to the next person.  The yarn would represent the vine and we are the branches, each holding onto the string of yarn. We are connected to the vine, but also through the vine, we are connected to each other.  We bear fruit individually, and we bear an abundance of fruit together.
