Holy Week begins with the joy of the triumphal entry.
However, the week would also see
Judas’ betrayal
Peter’s denial
and the cruelty of the cross.
Jesus knew the cup of redemption He was being asked to drink.
He knew the extent of the punishment he would suffer for all mankind.
He knew the rejection.
He knew the pain and agony.
He knew the alternative.
He knew it ALL before he got on that donkey.
Jesus knew what was to come
and He chose to go through those city gates anyway.
He chose you.
