News from the Frontline Apr/May 2021

Inspire Missioners work out their role in different contexts, developing Inspire practices and cultivating the core values of the Way of Life on the Frontline of the Inspire Movement. Here are some highlights of what is happening across the Movement at the moment:

  • Tabitha, based in the UK, finished leading the Discipling Children online course; reviewing the feedback from the new i4k Advent devotional to prepare for publication this summer. See also below
  • Anthony and Kylie in the USA are moving house in a couple of weeks. Read more below. They hosted a gathering of Inspire fellowships in Wilmore recently which brought together
  • Matt and Rachel in the UK, have just moved house and are settling into a new town, meeting their neighbours and beginning to take up more responsibilities in leading the Inspire Movement in Great Britain and in the international School of Discipleship. Please keep praying for them as they raise funds to support their full-time dedication to the ministry.
  • Hannah, in the USA, is progressing with her paper on Healing Prayer in preparation for leading Healing Prayer Retreats later in the year.
  • Robin in N. Ireland uses every opportunity to invite people into Inspire wherever he goes.
  • Zach in the USA, multiplying bands in his church and using Inspire principles in other ministries of his church.
  • Phil and Liz in the UK, thankful to be able to see people in person again. Praying through inspiration that they have received through the pandemic so that they can grow new things in the coming year.
  • Phil and Sam, coming to the end of the semester in Wilmore, KY, USA and preparing to send out some groups and multiply others; overseeing the growing Inspire Movement internationally; and guiding Missioners that are developing new roles in the Movement.
  • Brent and Colleen, visiting in the USA, to fund-raise for their missionary work whilst maintaining their bands and ministry in Ukraine and in OMS.
  • Ed in the USA, mentoring and discipling 5-6 men once a week in a local prison.
  • Frank and Brenda in the USA, leading a weekly bible study with young adults introducing Inspire rhythms as part of the practices.
  • Peter and Liz in N.Ireland, excited to be back at in person church worship and making plans for developing Inspire as restrictions for in person meetings are lifted in the summer.

Several Inspire Missioners are fundraising right now to raise support so that they can work part or full-time with Inspire in 2021. We believe they are part of our answer to prayer for more workers for the harvest but we need you to be a part of the Lord’s provision in order to make it possible.

The Wright Family: have just moved house to a new town. Please pray for them as they find their way around a new town, navigate the challenges of being away from their wider family, begin taking up more responsibilities in Inspire and continuing to raise financial support so that they can dedicate their full-time the ministry of Inspire.

Tabitha: “God really blessed our first I4K course. Please pray as we begin to draw together an I4K team to work on new resources and way of supporting, encouraging and inspiring people to journey with Children on the way of life. The beginning of May also marks the final weeks of my time at Seminary. Please pray for a good end, along with exciting beginning of a new season of working for Inspire.”

The Watts Family: “We are moving from Wilmore to our hometown (Cape Girardeau, MO) on May 14th! We’ll live there until we found a place to live in St. Louis. We’re really excited to see how the Lord leads us on this adventure. Please pray that our eyes and ears are open to the Spirit as we begin to church plant. CLICK HERE FOR OUR WEBSITE
