Sorrows Out

I cried, how could I not
the pain was            too intense
weltschmerz hung over me
dark cloud hovered

I cried how could I not
He heard me, saw me
brought His ear close by
chased my sorrows out the door

Despair left me and hope returned
I began to pray, breath in me
breathe   dry bones   wake up
He chased my sorrows, He kicked them out

Poem by Suzie
(note: weltschmerz = a feeling of melancholy and world-weariness.)
