“From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.” (Psalm 113:3) “in the courts of the house of the Lord—in your midst, Jerusalem. Praise the Lord.” (Psalm 116:19)
I was on my way home from church on Pentecost Sunday, and thought, I would like to praise the Lord with brothers and sisters some more this evening, it’s Pentecost after all! So I sent a message out to several friends saying come, let us praise the Lord together this evening.
The time passes and no one seems to arrive, so we have supper. Immediately after we get up from the table, a family who are very dear to me pull up in front of our home. God’s timing is perfect. We sang psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs from our hearts to the Lord, and we shared the word with each other as Jesus led us. And when you give Jesus space, He builds his church, and He sends His Spirit. So we blessed the Lord, and He blessed us even more, because that is just who He is.
How Great is our God? Thank you Jesus! Thank you Holy Spirit! Thank you Father!
