Simeon waited and waited and waited, believing that God would keep his promise. Sometimes God makes us wait to see his promises fulfilled, or to answer our questions or prayers.
What is the longest time you have ever had to wait for something? Are you ready to wait on God?
We also see here that the Holy Spirit prompts people to move, to go, to act, and to speak. Have you ever had that feeling that you just need to go somewhere, or do something, or say something? Next time you have that feeling, pray and ask God how he is prompting you with his Spirit.
