This picture is a winter view out our front door in Pahrump, Nevada—Mount Charleston. It is one of my favorite landmarks in this Mojave Desert area and is usually topped with snow during winter and early spring.

When I was going through an anxious time, a time where life felt a bit out of control, the LORD gave me this verse. I’ve memorized it and it continues to anchor me and remind me of my true Rock, the Power that saves me, and my Place of safety.
